3D,commercially popularized by the fantasy flick Avatar, had invaded Broadcasting space via 3Dtvs, and now its starting the invasion into the mobile-phone space.

Spice, a local Indian mobile phone manufacturer, recently was in the news for launching new low-mid range android devices, is now again in the lime light for manufacturing the first 3D enabled mobile phone, in which you can view 3dimensional images without glasses. And thats a first in the rapidly innovating mobile phone industry here in India.

The most important aspect is not only that you can view 3d, glasses – free, but also, it is available for just 4,299 rs. which is dirt cheap.

Codenamed M67-3D, the device also features a 2 Mp camera, micro sd card slot for upto 16 GB storage, ability to use the interface in 3D and also you can switch to 2D if you want, other commonly available features like FM radio, 3.5 mm jack, dual GSM sim card slots, interestingly you get remote wipe, so that if your phone gets lost, delete your data remotely, this is a very impressive feature at this price point.

But, as you know, these will sell only for ” Ooooh, how does it work ” curious folks who change/buy mobile phones very frequently.

So, my Indian friends, are you gonna try it ??
